Dervain

The room has grown quieter, though nobody seems ready to leave. A coat rests over the back of a chair; the last conversation has become the most interesting one. Dervain belongs to that hour. Grapefruit gives the opening a brief, bright edge, while cinnamon and cardamom draw warmth around it. Lavender follows with an aromatic darkness, its familiar outline altered by nutmeg.
